In drilling fluid,it works as viscosifier,filtration reducer,and rheology controller. In fixing fluid,it is used to control fluid viscosity,suspend heavy objects,and avoid fluid loss. Application Area Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose CMC can be also used many other areas, such as oil drilling industry, toothpaste, pharmaceutical, ceramics, water-based paints, detergents, textile sizing and dyeing, and various paper products.   In the oil-drilling industry as an ingredient of drilling mud, where it acts as a viscosity modifier and water retention agent.    In foods,Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose CMC is used in food science as a viscosity modifier or thickener, and to stabilize emulsions in various products including ice cream. As a Food Additive, Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose CMC has many typies.    In laundry detergents, Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose CMC is used as a soil suspension polymer designed to deposit onto cotton and other cellulosic fabrics, creating a negatively charged barrier to soils in the wash solution.    In Pharmaceuticals,Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose CMC is also used in pharmaceuticals as a thickening agent    In Ceramics,it is a good strengthening agent used in tiles body,which can strengthen the mouldability of mud and  sand materials.It is a binder that play a role of suspending,keeping water used in glazing pulp and decoration.   In paper making,with high replacement,high purity,high transparency,low viscosity,homogeneous reactions,water  retention  and good solution can be used as pulp additives,Coating additives,surface sizin agent.   In textile dyeing and sizing, it is quite stable when used in salt and weak acid medium, it can be used non-ionic and anionic paste.
